Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival at Gaya Airport/Railway Station. Meet & greet by our representative and transfer to Bodh Gaya (approx. 30 mins). Check in at hotel and freshen up.
Begin your spiritual journey with visit to the sacred Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. Spend time in meditation and explore the temple परिसर, Bodhi Tree, and Vajrasana (Diamond Throne).
Later visit the Great Buddha Statue (80 ft), followed by international monasteries including Thai Monastery, Japanese Temple (Indosan Nipponji), Tibetan Monastery, and Bhutanese Monastery.
In the evening, enjoy peaceful meditation or prayer sessions at the temple complex. Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya.
After breakfast, proceed to Sujata Village, where Sujata offered kheer to Lord Buddha before enlightenment. Visit Sujata Temple & Stupa and the nearby Niranjana (Phalgu) River.
Later drive to Gaya and visit the sacred Vishnupad Temple, an important pilgrimage site for Hindus where rituals for ancestors are performed.
After sightseeing, continue your journey to Rajgir (approx. 3 hrs). Check in at hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Rajgir.
After breakfast, proceed for full-day sightseeing in Rajgir.
Visit Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture Peak), where Buddha delivered many sermons. Take a ropeway ride to Vishwa Shanti Stupa (Peace Pagoda) for panoramic views.
Continue to Brahmakund Hot Springs, believed to have medicinal properties. Visit Bimbisara Jail, where King Bimbisara was imprisoned, and Ajatshatru Fort. Also explore the ancient Cyclopean Wall, one of the oldest stone walls in India.
Return to hotel. Overnight stay in Rajgir.
After breakfast, proceed to Nalanda (approx. 15 km).
Visit the ruins of the ancient Nalanda University, one of the world’s oldest residential universities and a major center of Buddhist learning. Explore the monastery complexes, stupas, and lecture halls.
Later visit Nalanda Archaeological Museum (closed on Fridays) and Hiuen Tsang Memorial Hall, dedicated to the famous Chinese traveler who studied here.
After sightseeing, drive to Patna for an Overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Vaishali (approx. 60 km).
Visit Ashokan Pillar, a symbol of Emperor Ashoka’s connection with Buddhism, followed by Buddha Relic Stupa, believed to contain Buddha’s ashes.
Continue to Kutagarasala Vihara, where Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon, and explore other ancient stupas and monasteries.
Return to Patna. If time permits, visit Patna Museum (Buddhist relics) or local markets. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from hotel. Transfer to Patna Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with peaceful and spiritual memories.
